Design, regardless of medium, is the measured, thought out attempt to make something look the way you mean it to. Which is to say, to make something without having to explain what you mean.

My name is Jean-René Lagacé and I am a fourth semester student in Humber College's Graphic Design program. My passion for design stems from a background in self-publishing and print making. Additionally, my relatively new found admiration for type design has motivated me to design type myself.

Following the end of our program, I hope to find interesting, challenging work in the design field, either for a publication or for a studio while continuing to design typefaces.
